Nicholas D. Thompson

Nicholas D. Thompson is an accomplished trial lawyer who is dedicated to fighting for the little guy. As part of Nichols Kaster's Individual Rights Team, Nick helps employees who have been discriminated against. Focusing on the Federal Railway Safety Act, he fights for workers who have suffered retaliation because they reported injuries or safety concerns.

Nick has also worked on Nichols Kaster’s Consumer Class Action Team where he fought for consumers and employees subjected to unfair, deceptive, and unlawful trade practices. Concentrating on the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Nick stood up for people illegally denied jobs, rentals, lines of credit, or were otherwise the victims of injustice due to information contained in their credit reports and/or background checks.

Immediately prior to joining Nichols Kaster, Nick worked as a litigator at O'Flaherty Heim Egan & Birnbaum. He spent the majority of his time litigating for personal injury plaintiffs and criminal defendants. This included being counsel in several high profile cases, including a double homicide that was featured on 48 Hours.

Nick is a former mixed martial artist who fought for the UFC, won a world championship, and was named one of the twenty five greatest welterweights of all time.
