Sarah W. Steenhoek

Sarah W. Steenhoek's organizational and interpersonal skills make her an effective advocate, negotiator, and litigator.  She is completely committed to defending consumers’ and employees' rights.  As a member of Nichols Kaster’s Consumer Class Action Team, Sarah advocates for consumers who have been subjected to unfair, unlawful, and misleading practices.  Sarah also represents individual employees with claims of discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. Sarah joined Nichols Kaster in January of 2008, initially working as a law clerk. Prior to joining Nichols Kaster, Sarah worked as a law clerk for Legal Aid Society's Housing Discrimination Law Project.

While in law school, Sarah was active in moot court, the Minnesota Justice Foundation, and volunteer work. Sarah and her partner won her school's Rosalie E. Wahl Moot Court Competition and Sarah was then selected to participate in the New York City Bar National Moot Court Competition where her team finished as a finalist in the regional round of the competition. Sarah was also on the board of her school's Minnesota Justice Foundation student chapter from 2007 to 2009.
