Sofia B. Andersson-Stern

Sofia B. Andersson-Stern is a “voice of reason” in the midst of complex legal problems. Her dedication to furthering employees’ rights has allowed her to develop a high level of comfort with each individual she represents. Sofia has proven to be a vital asset on large class actions due to her remarkable organizational and case management skills.

In addition to her class action practice, Sofia works on a variety of individual employment issues,  including discrimination, commissions, sexual harassment, and claims brought under the Family and Medical Leave Act and state and federal whistleblower statutes. As a highly proficient Spanish speaker, Sofia is able to effectively represent Spanish-speaking clients.

Sofia was very active in law school, serving as a member of the William E. McGee Civil Rights Moot Court Competition Team and a student attorney and director in the Civil Practice Clinic. Before joining Nichols Kaster, Sofia externed for the Honorable Michael J. Davis, United States District Court, District of Minnesota.
