Long Term Care Insurance

Long term care insurance policies should describe the type of coverage offered. In many instances, assisted living facilities are covered. Insurers, however, may later take the position that only nursing homes or higher levels of care are covered. If you or your loved one has been denied insurance coverage for an assisted living facility that you understood was included in the long term care policy, you may be able to pursue legal action.
