Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc.

Our firm is currently investigation whether Old Dominion Freight Line paid its Switchers (also referred to as Yard Jockeys or Hostlers) properly for the overtime hours they worked.  Federal law requires employers to pay all non-exempt employees time-and-a-half (1.5) for all hours worked over 40 in a week.  We received information indicating that the company paid only straight time (an employees’ regular hourly rate of pay) for overtime hours worked up to 60 per week, rather than the required time-and-a-half (1.5).   As a result, Switchers may be eligible to make a claim for unpaid overtime wages.  If you are interested in discussing your potential claim or believe you were not paid properly for the overtime hours you worked, please contact us directly at (612)-256-3222 or via email at nelson@nka.com. Any information you provide will be kept confidential.
