Hill, et al. v. Mercy Health Corporation, et al.

On August 4, 2020, we filed a lawsuit on behalf of participants in the Mercy Health Corporation Employees’ Retirement Plan, (the “Plan”). The lawsuit alleges that the Plan’s fiduciaries (the Defendants in the case) violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) by failing to act prudently or in the best interest of Plan participants and beneficiaries. 

Among other things, the lawsuit alleges that Defendants breached their fiduciary duties by including imprudent investment options and causing the Plan and its participants to pay excessive administrative and investment fees.
