The Minnesota Department of Human Rights is Collecting Reports of Alleged Minneapolis Police Misconduct

In response to former Officer Derek Chauvin’s murder of George Floyd, the Minnesota Department of Human Rights commenced a civil rights investigation into the Minneapolis Police Department. The investigation is reviewing the Department's policies, procedures, and practices over the past 10 years to determine if the police department utilized systemic discriminatory practices towards people of color, particularly member of the Black community. WILD with Twin Cities Diversity in Practice is helping gather information from community members to aid in the Department’s investigation. If you are ready to share your story, sign up here and a volunteer member of WILD will contact you.
