Celebrating 29 Years of the Americans with Disabilities Act

Today we celebrate the 29th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the world’s first comprehensive civil rights law for people with disabilities. The ADA prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in employment, schools, transportation, and in spaces open to the general public. As President George H.W. Bush stated when he signed the Act on July 26, 1990, “Together, we must remove the physical barriers we have created and the social barriers we have accepted.” Nichols Kaster is proud to fight for the rights of individuals with disabilities.
