City of Minneapolis Minimum Wage Increase Effective Today

Effective July 1, 2019, the minimum wage has increased for workers in Minneapolis to $11 per hour for small companies (100 or less employees), and $12.25 for larger employers.  The minimum wage will increase in the city each year until it hits $15 per hour.  These increases will be particularly helpful to those working in industries that typically pay lower wages such as retail, restaurant, and hospitality.
