Mark E. Thomson


Mark is a member of Nichols Kaster’s ERISA and consumer litigation teams where he represents employees whose retirement accounts have been shortchanged due to excessive fees, imprudent investments, employer self-dealing, and general mismanagement, as well as consumers who have been harmed by corporate wrongdoing. His recent cases have led to the recovery of tens of millions of dollars in retirement benefits for thousands of participants in 401(k) plans across the country.

Prior to joining the firm, he clerked for Justice David Lillehaug and Justice Anne McKeig on the Minnesota Supreme Court. During law school, Mark was an editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review and interned with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the National Consumer Law Center, and the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.
