On January 11, 2021, we filed a lawsuit on behalf of participants in the Tech Benefits Program, which is a Multiple Employer Welfare Arrangement (“MEWA”) for tech employers. The lawsuit alleges that the Tech Benefits MEWA’s fiduciaries (the Defendants in the case) violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) by failing to act prudently or in the best interest of participants and by engaging in prohibited transactions.
