Provident Savings Bank Mortgage Underwriters Update

Today, California Superior Court Judge Hernandez denied Provident’s request to prohibit us from proceeding as a class action. Provident argued that because the first case was initially brought as a class action, California underwriters were precluded from bringing this case as a class action. The Judge ruled in our favor on the motion. The class has not been certified yet, but this ruling means that we can still seek class certification.
