On October 24th, the Minnesota federal court denied BNSF Railway’s motion for judgment and ordered that the claims by Don Sanders, a track inspector for the railroad, should proceed to a jury trial. Sanders contends that BNSF retaliated against him in violation of the Federal Railway Safety Act when the railroad fired him after he reported safety concerns.
