Martin works primarily in the Qui Tam practice group representing whistleblowers in False Claims Act litigation who challenge fraudulent activity that corporations undertake. Martin also represents classes of employees and underserved communities in the Civil Rights and Impact Litigation practice group.

Prior to joining Nichols Kaster, Martin worked briefly as a criminal defense attorney and clerked for the Honorable Richelle M. Wahi in the 1st Judicial District of Minnesota. In law school, Martin externed with the St. Croix County District Attorney’s Office, B.K. Law Group, and the Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners Clinic. Martin was also a teaching assistant for Constitutional Law and is published in the Mitchell Hamline Law Review, where he was an associate and contributing editor.
