We have discussed the possibility of attempting to resolve this case early on with Apollo’s attorneys. Apollo has agreed to provide us with some of the data necessary for us to calculate damages. As such, over the next month or so we will be reviewing the data that Apollo provides and determining the wages that we believe you are owed. Although there is no guarantee that this case will in fact settle, this is a step in the right direction.
Additionally, we recently asked the court to allow us to add another claim in this lawsuit relating to the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We believe Apollo violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act by failing to properly notify job applicants of its intention to obtain a background check. This additional claim may affect you if you applied for your job with Apollo within the last two years. The court has not yet determined whether we may add this claim, but we are optimistic that it will.
