On June 20, 2025, we filed a lawsuit on behalf of participants in the Northwestern University Employee Welfare Plan, (the “Plan”). The lawsuit alleges that the Plan’s fiduciaries (the Defendants in the case) violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) by failing to prudently select and monitor the Plan’s preferred provider organization medical insurance options and by failing to disclose material information regarding these options to participants.
