About
Alfonso is an associate attorney at Nichols Kaster, where he represents employees and consumers in ERISA and civil rights litigation. He is committed to helping individuals protect their rights and hold employers and institutions accountable.
Prior to joining the firm, Alfonso spent just over two years clerking for The Honorable JaPaul J. Harris at the Minnesota Court of Appeals, where he honed his legal research and writing skills and analyzed complex issues across a wide range of civil and criminal appeals. During law school, he externed at the Hennepin County Public Defender’s Office, the Minnesota Court of Appeals, and for Governor Walz on his Boards and Commissions team.
Before law school, Alfonso worked in human resources in Madison, Wisconsin, gaining firsthand insight into workplace and employment issues. Outside the office, Alfonso enjoys distance running, playing recreational soccer, trying new restaurants, and watching movies.
