Nichols Kaster, PLLP reached a settlement for pharmaceutical couriers for HealthEx Corp. and HealthEx Courier LLC. The couriers delivered totes containing patient pharmaceuticals from a warehouse to places such as nursing homes and private residences. The couriers alleged they were misclassified as independent contractors and should have been paid overtime premium pay for overtime hours worked. The settlement includes 22 couriers who made claims for their unpaid overtime compensation.
The couriers are represented by Michele Fisher and Kayla Kienzle of Nichols Kaster, PLLP, which has offices in Minneapolis and San Francisco.
