Laura A. Baures belongs to Nichols Kaster’s Civil Rights and Impact practice group. Laura fights against discrimination and other unfair acts through litigating class, collective, or joint actions in the areas of employment, education, and more. Laura’s honorific is Ms. and pronouns are she/her/hers. She is licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Biography
Laura represents numerous job applicants, workers, and students in matters arising under federal and state laws. She has class action trial experience. She also serves on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee within the firm.
Laura received her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. During law school, she discovered her passion for litigation while competing in the American Association for Justice’s Student Trial Advocacy Competition and volunteering for over 100 hours through the Minnesota Justice Foundation including as a certified student attorney. Laura also served as president of the Women Law Students Association. Before and during law school, she worked for a local company that provides residential care for people with disabilities.
