On October 6, 2015, we filed a motion to conditionally certify the case as a collective action. If this motion is granted, Abbott will provide us with a list of names and contact information for all eligible employees so we can distribute judicial notice of the lawsuit. This notice would provide information about the lawsuit and explain how to join it.
Unfortunately, we are still waiting for the Court to rule on our pending motion for conditional certification. We hope to hear from the Court soon. In the meantime, Abbott employees who wish to join the case may still do so while this motion is being considered by the Court. If you worked for Abbott within the past three years as a field service specialist (also referred to as “core lab specialists,” “prism specialists,” and “hematology support specialists”) and wish to join this case, please sign and return a Plaintiff Consent Form.
