On December 18, 2024, the law firm of Nichols Kaster – together with Sirianni Youtz Spoonemore Hamburger PLLC – filed a lawsuit on behalf of a proposed class of people who have Kaiser insurance and require prescription hearing aids. The lawsuit alleges that Kaiser violates the Affordable Care Act’s prohibition against disability discrimination by not covering hearings aids and related services.
