On September 23, 2025, we filed a lawsuit on behalf of participants in the Health Care Plans for Faculty & Staff of the University of Rochester, (the “Plan”). The lawsuit alleges that the Plan’s fiduciaries (the Defendants in the case) violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) by failing to prudently manage the Plan’s preferred provider organization medical insurance options and allowing participants to pay unnecessarily high health insurance costs for no increased value, and by failing to disclose material information regarding these options to participants.
